Dato Sri’ Captain Suresh E. Abishegam
Group Chief Executive Officer
Dato Sri’ Captain Suresh, the CEO of The Azimuth Group, has over 35 years of experience in shipping and as a captain of industry. A dynamic man, Captain Suresh is the driving force behind the Azimuth group. Captain Suresh completed his maritime training with the University of Tasmania and sailed, as a Captain, for a number of years before becoming a leader in the corporate and commercial sector. Acknowledged as a leading Tanker and Bulk specialist in the Asia-Pacific region, his combination of both technical and commercial know-how in this demanding trade gives Azimuth a cutting-edge in the maritime sector. Captain Suresh has also, over the years, spearheaded the diversification of the Azimuth Group into the training, medical, scientific and tech industries.
Priscilla Abishegam
Group Chief Strategy Officer
and Director of Corporate
and Legal Affairs
Priscilla Abishegam read law at the LSE, graduating in 2011, and was thereafter admitted to practice in Western Australia. Citing maritime law and corporate strategy as her interests, she serves as the Chief Strategy Officer and Director of Corporate and Legal Affairs of the Azimuth International Group. Prior to joining the Azimuth Group she worked, in Singapore, with the Japanese shipping conglomerate Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK). In 2020 she pursued further studies with the department of History, Classics and Archaeology at the University of Edinburgh, completing an MSc in History.
Captain Kelana Sidek

Chief Operating Officer
Capt. Kelana has over 40 years of experience in the oil, gas, and maritime industry. As a Master Mariner, he spent the majority of his career working in high-risk environments onboard ships and in oil rigs in international waters. Capt. Kelana brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to our health, safety, and environmental training. His technical skills combined with his vast experience sets him apart from other consultants.
Abigail Abishegam
Group Chief Scientific Officer
and Director of Research and Development
Abigail Abishegam holds a Masters of Infectious Diseases from the University of Western Australia and a Bachelor of Science and Molecular Biology from Murdoch University. Abigail serves as the Chief Scientific Officer of the Azimuth Group; her vision is to bring state-of-the art scientific and medical solutions and contemporaneous technological innovations to the forefront of the international healthcare industry and/or sectors. She works closely with our research and development team, ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of research projects in the pipeline.
